Μια διεθνής επιστημονική συνάντηση

Πρόκειται για μια κορυφαία επιστημονική συνάντηση, η οποία συνδιοργανώνεται από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών —μέσω του Προπτυχιακού και του Μεταπτυχιακού Προγράμματος Σπουδών και του Εργαστηρίου Έρευνας και Τεκμηρίωσης του Νεοελληνικού Θεάτρου του Τμήματος Θεατρικών Σπουδών—, το Πανεπιστήμιο της Lille, το Πανεπιστήμιο του Strasbourg, το Πανεπιστήμιο του Montpellier Paul-Valéry, το Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), τα Ελληνικά Ιστορικά Αρχεία της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου (ΕΛΙΑΜ/ELIAM) και την Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.

Το συνέδριο εστιάζει στις δραματουργικές εκφάνσεις και στις παραστασιακές μορφές που αναδύονται στο θέατρο των Ελλήνων της Διασποράς, αναδεικνύοντας τις ποικίλες αισθητικές πρακτικές που συγκροτούν τη θεατρική παραγωγή πέραν του ελλαδικού χώρου.

Για τον σκοπό αυτό, φέρνει στην καρδιά της Ευρώπης 63 ομιλητές και ομιλήτριες από 25 πανεπιστήμια και φορείς —κορυφαίους ερευνητές, ακαδημαϊκούς και καλλιτέχνες—, προκειμένου να διερευνήσουν την ευρύτερη καλλιτεχνική θεατρική δράση και τη δραματουργία στα διεθνικά δίκτυα που διαμορφώθηκαν από τον 19ο αιώνα έως σήμερα.

Ξεχωριστές στιγμές

Οι εργασίες του συνεδρίου συνδυάζουν τη στέρεη θεωρητική ανάλυση με την πρακτική ματιά των ίδιων των δημιουργών. Ξεχωριστή στιγμή αποτελεί η Στρογγυλή Τράπεζα Καλλιτεχνών, όπου άνθρωποι του θεάτρου που δραστηριοποιούνται διεθνώς θα συζητήσουν για τη Διασπορά ως ενεργή θεατρική πράξη.

Une rencontre scientifique internationale

Il s’agit d’une rencontre scientifique majeure, coorganisée par l’Université Nationale et Capodistrienne d’Athènes —Programme de premier cycle, Programme de master et Laboratoire de recherche et de documentation du théâtre néo-hellénique du Département d’études théâtrales—, l’Université de Lille, l’Université de Strasbourg, l’Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry, l’Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), les Archives Historiques Helléniques de la Méditerranée Orientale (ELIAM), ainsi que la Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.

Le colloque se concentrera sur les manifestations dramaturgiques et les formes scéniques qui émergent dans le théâtre des Grecs de la Diaspora, mettant en lumière les diverses pratiques esthétiques qui composent la production théâtrale au-delà de l’espace grec.

Il réunira au cœur de l’Europe 63 intervenants issus de 25 universités et institutions —chercheurs de premier plan, universitaires et artistes— afin d’explorer l’activité théâtrale artistique au sens large ainsi que la dramaturgie au sein des réseaux transnationaux qui se sont formés du XIXe siècle à nos jours.

Les travaux du colloque associent une analyse théorique solide au regard pratique des créateurs eux-mêmes. Un moment particulier sera constitué par la Table ronde des artistes, au cours de laquelle des personnalités du théâtre actives à l’échelle internationale échangeront autour de la Diaspora comme pratique théâtrale vivante.

An international scholarly meeting

This major scholarly meeting is co-organised by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens —through the Undergraduate Programme, the Postgraduate Programme and the Laboratory for the Research and Documentation of Modern Greek Theatre of the Department of Theatre Studies—, the University of Lille, the University of Strasbourg, the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry, the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), the Hellenic Historical Archives of the Eastern Mediterranean (ELIAM) and the Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.

The conference will focus on the dramaturgical expressions and performance forms that emerge in the theatre of Greeks in the Diaspora, highlighting the diverse aesthetic practices that shape theatrical production beyond Greece.

It brings together in the heart of Europe 63 speakers from 25 universities and institutions —leading researchers, academics and artists— to explore broader artistic theatrical activity and dramaturgy within the transnational networks that have developed from the nineteenth century to the present day.

The conference combines rigorous theoretical analysis with the practical perspectives of the creators themselves. A special highlight will be the Artists’ Round Table, where internationally active theatre practitioners will discuss the Diaspora as a living theatrical practice.
