Μετά την επιτυχή διοργάνωση του 1ου Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου στις Βρυξέλλες (2023), διοργανώνεται στο Παρίσι, από τις 15 έως τις 17 Οκτωβρίου 2026, στον ιστορικό χώρο της Maison de la Grèce (9, rue Mesnil, 75116), το 2ο Διεθνές Συνέδριο για το Θέατρο του Ελληνισμού της Διασποράς.
Πρόκειται για μια κορυφαία επιστημονική συνάντηση η οποία συνδιοργανώνεται από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (ΠΠΣ, ΠΜΣ, Εργαστήριο Έρευνας και Τεκμηρίωσης του Νεοελληνικού Θεάτρου του Τμήματος Θεατρικών Σπουδών), το Πανεπιστήμιο της Lille (Faculté des langues, cultures et sociétés), το Πανεπιστήμιο του Strasbourg (Département d’études néo-helléniques), το Πανεπιστήμιο του Montpellier Paul-Valéry (Département de grec moderne), το Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), τα Ελληνικά Ιστορικά Αρχεία της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου (ΕΛΙΑΜ/ELIAM) και την Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.
Το συνέδριο θα εστιάσει στις δραματουργικές εκφάνσεις και στις παραστασιακές μορφές που αναδύονται στο θέατρο των Ελλήνων της Διασποράς, αναδεικνύοντας τις ποικίλες αισθητικές πρακτικές που συγκροτούν τη θεατρική παραγωγή πέραν του ελλαδικού χώρου. Για τον σκοπό αυτό, φέρνει στην καρδιά της Ευρώπης 63 ομιλητές από 25 πανεπιστήμια και φορείς –κορυφαίους ερευνητές, ακαδημαϊκούς και καλλιτέχνες– προκειμένου να διερευνήσουν την ευρύτερη καλλιτεχνική θεατρική δράση και τη δραματουργία στα διεθνικά δίκτυα που διαμορφώθηκαν από τον 19ο αιώνα έως σήμερα.
Μέσα από ένα πλούσιο πρόγραμμα 13 συνεδριών και Στρογγυλών Τραπεζών, θα αναδειχθούν καίρια ζητήματα, όπως:
Η θεωρητική προβληματική του χώρου, της κοινότητας και της ταυτότητας στο σύγχρονο παγκοσμιοποιημένο περιβάλλον.
Η αλληλεπίδραση του ευρωπαϊκού κοσμοπολιτισμού με τις ιστορικές κοινότητες του Ελληνισμού.
Ο ρόλος του θεάτρου απέναντι σε ιδεολογικές συγκρούσεις και ιστορικές ρήξεις, καθώς και ως όχημα πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας.
Η γλώσσα, η μετάφραση και οι μετα-εθνικές δραματουργικές φόρμες.
Ο λαϊκός πολιτισμός, η μνήμη και οι παραδοσιακές μορφές επιτέλεσης πέρα από τα εθνικά σύνορα.
Οι εργασίες του συνεδρίου συνδυάζουν τη στέρεη θεωρητική ανάλυση με την πρακτική ματιά των ίδιων των δημιουργών. Ξεχωριστή στιγμή αποτελεί η Στρογγυλή Τράπεζα Καλλιτεχνών, όπου άνθρωποι του θεάτρου που δραστηριοποιούνται διεθνώς θα συζητήσουν για τη διασπορά ως ενεργή θεατρική πράξη. Το συνέδριο θα ολοκληρωθεί το Σάββατο, 17 Οκτωβρίου, με την Τελική Στρογγυλή Τράπεζα (17:30 – 18:00), με τον απολογισμό και τα συμπεράσματα.

Après l’organisation réussie du 1er Colloque international à Bruxelles en 2023, le 2ème Colloque international sur le théâtre de l’Hellénisme de la Diaspora se tiendra à Paris, du 15 au 17 Ooctobre 2026, à la Maison de la Grèce, lieu historique situé au 9 rue Mesnil, 75116 Paris.
Il s’agit d’une rencontre scientifique majeure, coorganisée par l’Université Νationale et Capodistrienne d’Athènes (Programme de premier cycle, Programme de master, Laboratoire de recherche et de documentation du théâtre néo-hellénique du Département d’études théâtrales), l’Université de Lille (Faculté des langues, cultures et sociétés), l’Université de Strasbourg (Département d’études néo-helléniques), l’Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry (Département de grec moderne), l’Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), les Archives Historiques Helléniques de la Méditerranée Orientale (ΕΛΙΑΜ/ELIAM), ainsi que la Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.
Le colloque se concentrera sur les manifestations dramaturgiques et les formes scéniques qui émergent dans le théâtre des Grecs de la Diaspora, mettant en lumière les diverses pratiques esthétiques qui composent la production théâtrale au-delà de l’espace grec. À cette fin, il réunira au cœur de l’Europe 63 intervenants issus de 25 universités et institutions –chercheurs de premier plan, universitaires et artistes– afin d’explorer l’activité théâtrale artistique au sens large ainsi que la dramaturgie au sein des réseaux transnationaux qui se sont formés du XIXe siècle à nos jours.
À travers un riche programme de 13 séances et tables rondes, seront abordées des questions essentielles telles que :
La problématique théorique de l’espace, de la communauté et de l’identité dans l’environnement contemporain mondialisé.
L’interaction entre le cosmopolitisme européen et les communautés historiques de l’Hellénisme.
Le rôle du théâtre face aux conflits idéologiques et aux ruptures historiques, ainsi que comme vecteur de diplomatie culturelle.
La langue, la traduction et les formes dramaturgiques post-nationales.
La culture populaire, la mémoire et les formes traditionnelles de performance au-delà des frontières nationales.
Les travaux du colloque associent une analyse théorique solide au regard pratique des créateurs eux-mêmes. Un moment particulier sera constitué par la Table ronde des artistes, au cours de laquelle des personnalités du théâtre actives à l’échelle internationale échangeront autour de la Diaspora comme pratique théâtrale vivante. Le colloque s’achèvera le samedi 17 octobre avec la Table ronde finale (17:30 – 18:00), consacrée au bilan et aux conclusions.

Following the successful organisation of the 1st International Conference in Brussels in 2023, the 2nd International Conference on the Theatre of Hellenism in the Diaspora will take place in Paris, from 15 to 17 October 2026, at the historic Maison de la Grèce, 9 rue Mesnil, 75116 Paris.
This is a major scholarly meeting, co-organised by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Undergraduate Programme, Postgraduate Programme, Laboratory for the Research and Documentation of Modern Greek Theatre of the Department of Theatre Studies), the University of Lille (Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Societies), the University of Strasbourg (Department of Modern Greek Studies), the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry (Department of Modern Greek), the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), the Hellenic Historical Archives of the Eastern Mediterranean (ΕΛΙΑΜ/ELIAM) and the Communauté Hellénique de Paris et des Environs.
The conference will focus on the dramaturgical expressions and performance forms that emerge in the theatre of Greeks in the Diaspora, highlighting the diverse aesthetic practices that shape theatrical production beyond Greece. To this end, it brings to the heart of Europe 63 speakers from 25 universities and institutions –leading researchers, academics and artists– in order to explore broader artistic theatrical activity and dramaturgy within the transnational networks that have developed from the 19th century to the present day.
Through a rich programme of 13 sessions and round tables, the conference will address key issues such as:
The theoretical questions of space, community and identity in today’s globalised environment.
The interaction between European cosmopolitanism and the historical communities of Hellenism.
The role of theatre in relation to ideological conflicts and historical ruptures, as well as its function as a vehicle of cultural diplomacy.
Language, translation and post-national dramaturgical forms.
Folk culture, memory and traditional forms of performance beyond national borders.
The conference proceedings combine solid theoretical analysis with the practical perspective of the creators themselves. A special highlight will be the Artists’ Round Table, where theatre practitioners active internationally will discuss the Diaspora as a living theatrical practice. The conference will conclude on Saturday, 17 October, with the Final Round Table (17:30 – 18:00), dedicated to the review and conclusions.
