1. ISTANBUL OCTOBER 2023
Applied Theatre and Climate Change. A workshop experience.
National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
Sometimes, conventional science fails to communicate the impact of environmental pressures and climate change. This workshop suggests an alternative, more engaging way of teaching and communicating by using theatrical techniques. The applied theatre increases awareness and drives behavioral change. Through applied theatre planning and participatory theatrical techniques, academic communities will address decision-makers to co-decide on the measures they will have to take to counterbalance the negative effects ensuring a better future.
