Guidelines
You may submit a contribution for the conference.
For each submission you may select either Paper, Poster or Workshop.
You should write your manuscript following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution” which you can find here in doc or docx format.
After writing your contribution, you should submit it to the submission platform here.
- Create an account, or login if you have already an account.
- In the following menu, select "Your Submissions" and submit your contribution, by following the guidelines in the platform.
- Until the deadline of each submission type you may update you submission details and files.
As an author, for every type of submission you shall upload 3 files:
a) One pdf file named with the surname of the first author, i.e. James.pdf,
b) One doc or docx file named with the surname of the first author,
c) One anonymised pdf file named with the surname of the first author followed by the word 'blind' (i.e. Jamesblind.pdf), where all authors' names, institutions, emails, citations and references will not be visible in the manuscript.
For example, in the anonymised file, the citation (James, Dickinson, 2015) should be shown as (XXX, Dickinson, 2015), where James is the author of the submitted contribution and Dickinson is not.
Remember to click the "Complete Submission" button on the second screen!
After submitting your contribution you will receive a confirmation email.
If you don't receive it please check your spam folder. In case you don't find the confirmation email, please contact ictmt16@eds.uoa.gr.
By submitting a paper or poster, you agree to act as a reviewer for at least one review of another paper or poster proposal.
Submission Types
Research Papers (Deadline for submissions: 23rd of January 28th of February 2023, 23:59 CET).
Research papers may present research outcomes, research in progress, innovative practices, theoretical developments, reports on the use of resources and experiences, in relation with any of the topics of the conference. Authors should submit an up to 8 pages text following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution”.
Posters (Deadline for submissions: 31st of March, 23:59 CET).
Poster proposals consist of a title, an up to 2 pages abstract and references, following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution” and they can illustrate original work around concepts, ideas and projects in progress addressing any of the topic of the conference.
Workshops (Deadline for submissions: 31st of March 2023, 23:59 CET).
Proposals for workshops should focus on hands-on experience with the exploitation of digital tools and emerging technologies. The workshop rationale is for participants to explore such tools and discuss ways of exploiting them on teaching-learning of Mathematics and on Mathematics’ Education in general.
- A workshop proposal consists of an up to 2 pages description following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution”, and should include:
- The title of the workshop, an abstract and keywords.
- The workshop objectives and the expected outcome.
- An outline of hands-on activities and the method
- A description of the resources needed.
Sponsors' options to participate ICTMT16
Demos/posters (Deadline for submissions: 31st of March, 23:59 CET).
Proposals from industry, companies, etc., for demonstrating digital technologies and useful tools for teaching and learning Mathematics developments. Demos will be available to the conference audience, during the poster session.
A demo proposal consists of an up to 2 pages description following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution”, and should include:
- The title of the demonstration, an abstract and keywords.
-The name of the technology to be demonstrated and the affiliations of the presenter (company, names of the persons who are doing the presentation, their title, etc.)
- The demonstation's objectives.
- An outline of the demonstration's context.
- A description of the resources needed.

Tech Stands (Deadline for submissions: 31st of March 2023, 23:59 CET).
Proposals from industry, companies, etc., for setting a stand in a prominent place of the venue, during the conference, so that the participants have the opportunity to explore their educational technology products.
A tech stand proposal consists of an up to 2 pages description following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution”, and should include:
- The title of the stand, an abstract and keywords.
- The name of the technology (or technologies) to be available and the affiliations of the presenter (company, names of the persons who are doing the presentation, their title, etc.)
- A description of the technologies, above.
- A description of the resources needed.

Tech Workshops for digital tools (Deadline for submissions: 31st of March, 23:59 CET).
Proposals from industry, companies, etc., for conducting an 1.5 hour workshops on digital technologies and useful tools for teaching and learning Mathematics. In addition, all workshops proposals will have the opportunity of setting a "tech stand"in a prominent place of the venue, during the conference. A tech workshop proposal consists of an up to 2 pages description following the “ICTMT16 Template for contribution”, and should include:
- The title of the workshop, an abstract and keywords.
- The name of the technology to be used and the affiliations of the presenter (company, names of the persons who are doing the presentation, their title, etc.)
- The workshop's objectives.
- An outline of the workshop's context and activities for participants.
- A description of the resources needed.
