The ISCHE and Local Organizing Committee ECR Representatives have been hard at work preparing two special events specifically for ECRs at ISCHE 47. Below you can find details about those activities, including dates and registration instructions, as well as information about joining the ISCHE ECR mailing list to stay connected with different ECR events, networking opportunities and activities throughout the year.
1) ECR Social Event – Rooftop Pub Quiz
Join us for the ECR Social Event on Thursday 16 July (19:00–21:00) at Loft26 (Iakchou 26, Athens 118 54). Meet fellow ECRs, expand your international network, enjoy Greek snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, and take part in a fun themed pub quiz while enjoying a rooftop view of the Acropolis.
Places are limited and registration is required: if you would like to be added to the waiting list, send an email to ecr@ische.org

2) Meet the Editors Publishing Sessions
Online session: Friday 10 July, 13:30 Athens time (12:30 CET)
On-site session: Friday 17 July, 14:45–15:45
Venue: Room 438 (grab your lunch first!)
The ISCHE ECR programme will feature both online and on-site Meet the Editors sessions. These interactive discussions offer ECRs the opportunity to engage directly with editors of leading journals in the history of education, learn about academic publishing and peer-review processes, and discuss strategies for developing publication plans and submitting manuscripts.
Interested participants should first grab their lunch, and then head to the session location next door.
