Tourist Information

A Coruña is a coastal city in the northwest of Spain, located in the Autonomous Region of Galicia on the Atlantic Ocean. Its history dates back to Roman times, and it is best known for the Tower of Hercules, the world's oldest functioning Roman lighthouse and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has long played an important role as a strategic port and maritime center.

As one of Galicia’s main urban and economic hubs, A Coruña is a key cultural destination. Besides the Tower of Hercules, visitors should not miss María Pita Square, the picturesque Old Town, San Antón Castle, and the city's extensive seafront promenade. The beaches of Riazor and Orzán, together with several museums and cultural venues, make A Coruña one of the most attractive cities in the region.

A Coruña is renowned for its excellent gastronomy, particularly its fresh Atlantic seafood, fish dishes, Galician octopus (pulpo á galega), and traditional “empanadas”. To learn more about A Coruña, please visit: A Coruña Tourist Information website.
