Assistant Professor Yannis E. Doukas is Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics and Policy at the University of Athens, Department of Agricultural Development, Agri-food & Natural Resources Management. He holds a PhD in the Political Economy of the Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy from the University of Athens. His teaching experience includes courses on Economics, Agricultural Economics and International and European Economics and Policy. His research experience includes the participation in several projects in the area of EU integration, Agri-food economics and policies and International Political Economy. Currently, he is a member of the Jean Monnet Network “Crisis- Equity- Democracy for Europe and Latin America”. Finally, he has worked as a coordinator of several European programs and has served as a special adviser to the Minister for Rural Development and Food. Additionally, he is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the scientific review “Region & Periphery”.
