✈️ Airport Info
Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH) is approximately 35 km from the city center. You can travel from the airport to the city using different means of transport: taxi, metro or bus.
🚕 Taxi
Official taxis are yellow, with a “Taxi” sign on the roof, and operate 24/7.
- The airport taxi rank is just outside Arrivals, near Exit 3.
- Once you exit the terminal, you’ll see the official taxis lined up—just join the queue and wait your turn.
- A taxi ride to Syntagma Square (city center) takes about 25 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
💡 Tip: It’s perfectly fine to let the driver know that you’re aware of the fixed fare to the city center.
Fixed fares:
- Day (05:00–00:00): €40
- Night (00:00–05:00): €55
Note: The day/night tariff depends on the time you arrive at your final destination, not when you leave the airport.

Harokopio University
Workshop is going to take plase at Amphitheater G. Karabatzos, Harokopio University of Athens.
Harokopio University is located near the city center, and can be reached by bus or metro.
Tavros M1 metro stop is located at 700 meters away.
From Syntagma you may reach the University in about 20 minutes using trolleybus 1 & 5 among others.
Getting to Harokopio University:
- Monastiraki → Harokopio ***Link***: ~17 min
- Train, get off at Tavros + short walk
- Syntagma → Harokopio ***Link***: ~20–25 min
- Bus A2 or trolley 5, 1 + short walk
