Scope of the Conference

The conference features a distinguished lineup of leading academic researchers and scholars from diverse scientific fields who will share their research and experience on contemporary holistic educational approaches, innovative strategies, and research-based practices across four strands that include active citizenship, education for sustainable development, global competences  and children's rights.  The conference promises thought provoking innovation, creative and transformative ideas in the context of a better, more fair and sustainable world.

 

Audience

The conference is open to a broad range of participants, including educators, administrators, policy makers, researchers, scholars, university students, artists, cultural and social workers of many ages from different countries and cultures and with different life experiences too. Participants will have the opportunity to broaden their learning, build on and share ideas, make new connections with people who are making a difference and move forward.

Saturday, May 17th, 2025

  • 09:00-14:00 plenary sessions (Municipal Theatre of Piraeus)

  • 15:00-18:00 parallel workshops (Pedagogiki School) 

 

Sunday, May 18th, 2025 

  • 10:00-14:00 interactive museum experiences and human libraries sessions (Municipal Gallery of Piraeus)

Official Language: English (specific number of workshops will be offered in Greek)

A certificate of attendance will be provided online after the completion of the conference.

Registration and Participation fees

Registration is required to attend the conference

Early Bird discount for registrations until March 15, 2025

  • 30 euros for the general public and
  • 20 euros for University students 

Limited early bird tickets, priority will be respected. 

Regular Registration:

  • 50 euros for the general public 
  • 40 euros for University students
